Yes — after the on-device AI model is installed on your iPhone. You need the internet once to download that model, about 440 MB. Until it is ready, iOS 18 or later can use Apple on-device translation. Apple may ask to download a language pack with your permission.
Translation text is not sent to a cloud translation service. Speech recognition, camera text detection, and translation are designed to run on your iPhone. If on-device speech recognition is unavailable, the app fails locally instead of sending audio to a network recognizer. Purchase verification — when configured — checks Apple transactions only. It does not receive the text you translate.

Yes. Translation runs on your device and does not require a RoxLab account.
Translation itself can work offline after the on-device model is installed — the same as Free. Lifetime access stays available offline. Subscriptions remain available for seven days after the last verification if Apple’s store is unreachable, then the app asks you to reconnect so it can confirm the subscription.
